The recruitment of students to be a part of the Maiden edition of the Youth Leadership for Social Change project started on Tuesday the 10th of October. So far 30 Students from the University of Cape Coast have been selected to be a part of the project.
The selected students from University of Cape Coast will be paired with those selected today, the 10th of October 2017 ,from the University of Development Studies (Tamale) to participate in the 1st edition of the Youth Leadership for Social Change project.
The project is designed with the goal of expanding opportunities for youth leadership and active citizenship towards a more inclusive Ghanaian society. The project will also enhance opportunities for young leaders to apply leadership skills through the development and implementation of youth-led social change initiatives.
Present at the Recruitment process were Mr. Eric Saforo, project lead from YES-Ghana and some local NUGS Officials from University Cape Coast.
The selected students will be contacted and presented to their schools at the launch of the project which is to be held at the University of Development Studies (Tamale campus) and the University of Cape Coast respectively.
