Youth Empowerment Synergy is implementing a leadership development project dubbed #YL4SC – Youth Leadership for Social Change. Now in its second phase with funding from the Ford Foundation, #YL4SC is a trailblazing initiative that prepares tertiary level students to become active citizens and leaders of social change in their communities. From an initial focus on two universities – UCC in Cape Coast and UDS in Tamale – the project has now expanded to include the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani.
YES-Ghana is currently seeking to recruit experienced mentors to support student participants in their ideation efforts, planning and managing team projects, and ongoing personal development support. There will be 30 mentors in total, 10 per location. Each mentor will be allocated a small team of between five and seven students.
If you are resident in any of our #YL4SC project locations – Cape Coast, Sunyani and Tamale – and you meet the requirements detailed in the full Role Description, we would be pleased to receive your application. Applicant must be available to attend a preparatory two-day workshop slated for 18-19 December 2018 in Kumasi.
