The Ghana Youth Manifesto is a comprehensive compilation of youth policy options and proposals to place youth issues and perspectives at the heart of Ghana’s development agenda, and thereafter form the basis for national youth policy. It contains the views, aspirations, perspectives and issues of youth, and covers most aspects of contemporary youth development issues, taking into account internationally agreed frameworks such as the World Programme of Action for Youth and the African Youth Charter. The Ghana Youth Manifesto is the outcome of young people’s interconnected efforts and those of various stakeholders in youth development in Ghana. Therefore it is owned by a broad constituency of youth from all parts of the country. It is a non-partisan document.
